MAS182 Seamanship II

Students learn and apply skills in using block and tackle, wire rope, and marlinspike seamanship while expanding their knowledge and skill in marlinspike seamanship, including new knots and splices. This class is held aboard the training vessel FORERUNNER. Prerequisite: MAS 181 Seamanship I or instructor approval.
