Unix/Linux for Users and Administrators is an introductory course to practical Unix and Linux, covering basics of two similar operating systems. It is aimed at Unix novices with limited or no experience in operating systems other than Windows. Topics include: Unix shells and shell commands; File systems; Ownerhip and Mask; File manipulation; Processes; Common Unix/Linux graphical interfaces; Vi editor; Unix communication; Grep Sed and Awk; Bourne Shell scripting; Unix and Linux Administration
