ART 343 Introduction to Sound Art
This course incorporates historical, theoretical, conceptual, and technical lectures surrounding sound and sound art, in addition to software and hardware demonstrations for composing studio art projects. This course introduces students to creative audio recording, mixing and mastering skills, as well as professional-grade applications of the techniques. This course also encourages experimental approaches to instrument making, recording devices and design, and the role of the creative process in the world of constantly emerging digital technologies.
