Overview
Applied Science programs provide the skills and work experience you’ll need to qualify for employment. The programs include general education courses to assure that you have a basic understanding of writing, mathematics, human relations, and social sciences and/or humanities. CCC's Cooperative Work Experience program offers credit for some on-the-job experience with local employers in the field of a student's choosing.
Program Requirements
Program Courses
Required Courses are prescribed in the specific Applied Science programs. Individual programs may exclude MTH 098.
Technical Electives provide students choice within an approved program. The number of technical option credits available is specified by the individual Applied Science programs.
Electives are specified by each specific Applied Science program. Students have the opportunity to choose these courses numbered 100 - 299.
Guidelines
Students complete a total of 90 credits of college-level coursework. College-level courses are numbered 100 or higher, and courses numbered 001-099 are considered developmental. Specific courses must be passed with a grade of “C” or better. A maximum of 24 credits graded with “P” (Pass) may be used toward the degree. A student's cumulative GPA must be at least a 2.0 at the time their AAS degree is awarded.

Complete 2 courses of WR 121Z and either WR 122Z, WR 227Z, or BA214, or a specified course meeting the AAS program.
