MLA 253 Constitutional Law

This course will examine the United States Constitution and its Amendments with emphasis on the allocation of powers, the system of checks and balances, commerce, and the concepts of individual rights, liberties, and protection. Course Objectives: Demonstrate understanding of the Bill of Rights and its application to citizens and the government. Demonstrate understanding of how laws are created and amended. Demonstrate understanding of the various landmark United States Supreme Court Cases impacting citizen rights.
