The Office of Disability Support Services provides programs and services designed to support and encourage the integration of students with disabilities into the mainstream of the university community. DSS works with registered students with disabilities to ensure access so that they may participate as fully as possible in campus life. At the same time, students with disabilities are responsible for making their needs known and meeting the academic standards set for all Catholic University students. Although it is not required that students with disabilities register, students who wish to use accommodations must be registered with DSS on an annual basis. New students should contact DSS as soon as possible after accepting admission to Catholic University to learn more about services and the registration process.
