Admission Deferral
New students must register for classes in the semester in which they are admitted. A new student who choses to postpone their admission to a future semester must indicate their plan to defer on the Intent to Enroll Form. Please see an admissions counselor for more information.
Students who have been previously dismissed for Academic Performance
Students who were dismissed from their most recent institution due to poor performance – whether from The Catholic University of America or another institution of higher education – will need to provide evidence of their ability to succeed at the Metropolitan School before being admitted. Under most circumstances, such evidence will entail one of the following:
Completing 6 semester credits as a non-degree-seeking student at the Metropolitan School of Professional Studies and earning a cumulative GPA of 2.5 from those 6 credits, or
Completing 6 semester credits at another institution of higher learning and earning a cumulative GPA of 2.5 from those 6 credits.
