MRE 101 Introduction to Study of Religion

The course is designed as an introduction to the social scientific study of religion. Major theories of religion will be examined, such as cultural, anthropological, sociological, and functional, as well as key concrete components of religion including prayer, scripture, ritual, and liturgy.
