DR 201 Survey of Theatre History

This course introduces students to the major periods of theatre history, from the earliest forms of performance through the 19th century. The students will examine the social, cultural and political climate that of each of these periods and their impact on the theatre. Students will also study the major play, artists and production practices of these periods.
