CEE 497 Water and Wastewater Treatment Engineering

This course provides a survey of engineering approaches to the treatment of water with an emphasis on fundamental principles and models. Theory and conceptual design of systems for treating municipal drinking water and wastewater are discussed. Physical and chemical processes are presented, including sedimentation, filtration, disinfection, coagulation, and biological treatment. Prerequisites ENGR 331
