MUS 622 Practicum in Score Reading and Analysis for Conductors
Process of score analysis: historic-stylistic, form-deformation, orchestration, harmonic, expressive indications and absence thereof, interpretive options. Major emphasis on transpositions and clef readings. Playing 4 clefs at the keyboard.
Prerequisite
Must be concurrently enrolled in at least one course that generates a tuition charge.
