MADM 611 American Health Care System
This course introduces students to the history of healthcare delivery in the United States from pre-colonial times to the present. The course would be most valuable to students who do not have a broad work background in healthcare. Comparisons are made with healthcare delivery in other countries, especially with regards to healthcare financing. Students will learn how healthcare services are organized, accessed and delivered.
