NUR9461 Nursing Assistant
Students acquire, demonstrate and deliver routine patient care to residents of long term care and other facilities. This course includes instruction in basic bedside nursing skills, restorative services, mental health and social needs as well as personal care skills and patient rights. Students will be given an introduction to anatomy and physiology. This course meets the requirements of the Oregon State Board of Nursing for certification as a nursing assistant - CNA I.
