Requirements for the degree can be found at Paralegal Studies - Associate of Arts (A.A.)
The primary concern of a paralegal education program is to develop professional competence, which requires both general education and legal specialty course work. The program includes 24 credits of core liberal arts requirements, 27 credits of core law courses, and 12 credits of track-specific electives. Students can focus their legal specialty course work in one of two tracks: General Practice or Litigation Practice. All students will be required to participate in a legal internship during their last year in the program. The Associate of Arts in Paralegal Studies (A.A.P.S.) courses are offered both on our main campus and at the Alexandria location.
