Master of Science in Architecture & Master of Civil Engineering (Dual Degree Program)
The joint Master’s degree program is comprised of a Master of Architecture and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with a Structural subplan or a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with a Construction Engineering and Management subplan. This degree is available to students accepted into this program with advanced standing in architecture.
The total number of credits in the joint Master’s degree is 57; the current Master of Architecture with advanced standing is 45 credits, and the current MS of Structural Engineering is 30, with the current MS of Construction Engineering and Management being 30 credits.
ARPL696F will be a joint thesis. Students will select from a list of structural (or construction) electives. The students must satisfy the engineering pre-requisite requirements for all the required engineering courses as well as any elective courses they take.
