PGE-141 Introduction To Geographic Systems and Technologies

This course is an introduction to Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Technologies. Fundamental concepts of GIS, GIS software and Global positioning systems (GPS) will be presented. Components of spatial data models, coordinate systems integration, data sources, spatial database functions, and analysis will be investigated.
