PSY 445 Clinical Neuroscience

This course integrates brain impairment and clinical implications of schizophrenia, depression, stress disorders, Parkinson's disease, and other disorders that impose a huge cost to society in terms of individual and family distress and clinical needs. Students will gain insight into recent advances in neuroscience that are relevant to neurological and psychiatric diseases. Key areas of study include behavior, cognition, development and motor functions of normal and abnormal brain function. Prerequisite: PSY 304 or BE 421/521
