POL 260 Introduction to American Intelligence

This course will provide the student with a solid grounding in the functions, activities, and organizations of US intelligence. Classes will chart the development of the US Intelligence community and will cover both theoretical and practical aspects of the profession of intelligence. Extensive readings in classic and contemporary treatments of intelligence, along with exposure to long-time veterans of US intelligence agencies will provide in-depth knowledge and insights into the practice of intelligence.
