Verification Deadlines

October 1-- FAFSA is available as of October 1 every year. You should complete the FAFSA and submit your results to the Central Processor as quickly as you can to prevent delays in your aid.

All documentation necessary to complete verification must be received at least two weeks prior to the last day of classes of the semester for which you are enrolled. Verification documents submitted after this date may not be able to be processed in time to award aid for the term in question.

Additionally, the following deadline is published annually in the Federal Register by the Education Department. These deadlines are the absolute last day documents can be submitted for aid determination and corrections to be made:

For the 2022-23 Award Year, all documentation must be submitted by two weeks prior to September 1, 2023
For the 2023-24 Award Year, all documentation must be submitted by two weeks prior to September 2, 2024
