PSY 754 Social Neuroscience
This course will focus on how social behaviors and processes are instantiated in the brain and biology. The meetings will have a lecture component with in-depth examples, as well as class activities to inform students about the state of research in social neuroscience, methods for assessing the neurobiological underpinnings of social behaviors and processes (e.g., social learning, empathy, cooperation, social exclusion, stereotyping), and the operationalization of key constructs.
It will be taught by Alva Tang, who is at the Univ of Maryland.
