NURS 911 Qualitative Research Methods
Seminar (3 clock hours per week) Focuses on the methods employed to conduct a qualitative research project. Builds on 908, Qualitative Research in Nursing. Exploration and application of topics such as sampling, interviewing and observation techniques, and data collection methods appropriate to specific, student-selected designs. Application of coding methods and data analysis methods such as thematic abstraction, clustering, categorization, and theory writing. Department consent required.
