IEDM 561 Managing Not-for-Profits
This course addresses the management skills and tools necessary for building and growing not-for-profit organizations, and management and leadership best practices. It includes mission and goal setting, fundraising, strategy formulation, governance, and organization design. It also explores the techniques and skills necessary to identify opportunities, motivate employees, and mobilize resources to exert influences and effective change in society. Special emphasis is given to the strengthening of institutions in a context of social and economic development.
