ECON 540 Integral Economic Development

Covers different theories and strategies for economic development with special emphasis on such issues as growth, income distribution and the role of population. Free markets versus centralized planning analyzed in light of recent experience. Special attention also to international trade and finance and the Third World debt crisis.
