ENG 464 Shakespeare and Film

A close examination of some of Shakespeare's greatest plays and the movies which have performed, interpreted, and re-invented them. The course requires both intensive reading of the original texts and careful analysis of historical and recent movies inspired by Shakespeare's dramas.
