Admission
Admission requirements and specifications are provided at the School of Canon Law website.
Application for graduate study at CUA is through the Office of the Vice-Provost and Dean of Graduate Studies.
Admission to study is open to properly qualified persons who meet the following requirements:
- Official transcripts of undergraduate and, if completed, postgraduate studies.
- Completion of the required theological and philosophical course preparation.
- Two or more letters of recommendation from officials or faculty members of institutions previously attended.
- Results of the Graduate Record Examination taken within the past five years may also be required.
Please note, priests, deacons, candidates for orders, and religious will be asked to submit a letter of support and of good standing from their bishop or religious superior.
