Department of Counseling Bilingual ESL and Educational Lead

The Department of Counseling, Bilingual Education, and Educational Leadership (CBEEL) at UTPB is committed to developing compassionate, skilled, and visionary professionals who serve as educators, counselors, and leaders in diverse educational and community settings. Graduate Programs Offered

  • Master of Arts in Counseling
    Prepares students for careers as Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs) and/or certified School Counselors. The program emphasizes mental health, ethical practice, and culturally competent counseling strategies.
  • Master of Arts in Bilingual/ESL Education
    Equips educators to become leaders in multilingual education. Graduates are prepared to serve as bilingual or ESL teachers, curriculum developers, language assessment professionals, and policy advocates.
  • Master of Arts in Educational Leadership
    Designed for aspiring school administrators and district leaders. The program includes preparation for principal and superintendent certification, with a strong focus on instructional leadership, school law, and organizational management.
