Course Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
1. Evaluate the safety principles and procedures appropriate to an experiment in preparation of laboratory work
2. Prepare necessary laboratory documents including experimental procedures, experimental results and observations ensuring proper use of units and significant figures
3. Analyze experimental results qualitatively and quantitatively with correct utilization of accuracy and precision
4. Communicate correctly interpreted experimental results applying chemical concepts in a clear, concise manner
5. Write a formal lab report
